I found the Oklahoma City Jr. Blazers after hearing an advertisement on the radio. A veteran Blazers from the 1990’s, Tyler Fleck, founded the Jr. Blazers in 2014. I only found them in 2017, and since then have followed the team, now helping out on a volunteer basis for whatever they need.
I met Eric Rodgers in November of 2018 and began helping him with the in-game social media for home games. I also took pictures to use on social media. My responsibilities grew this past season to include customer service, alcohol sales and sponsorship sales. I came into the sponsorships after the season started, but had some success with it.
I have a passion for hockey, one that no one can smolder. So, just after I first came on the scene with the Jr. Blazers, I started a masters program with Southeastern Oklahoma State University. The fast-track program took me less than 12 months to complete and am now a proud 2019 graduate, with a Master of Science in Sport Administration.
